Creative Writing
Goal
Writing is an important part of the school curriculum.
It is therefore essential that in educating our students we expose them to,
and encourage them to become skilled in using the
many different forms of writing.
This course comprises of comprehensive units, designed to provide opportunities for students to read, examine, plan and write a variety of text types.
These include report, exposition, recount, explanation, description and narrative.
In this course students will learn:
• to read and analyse various texts
• to identify the features and format of a variety of text types
• to write in different text types
• to develop and extend vocabulary
• to use correct grammar and punctuation

• 10 weeks per term

다른 글을 그대로 보고 따라쓰는
1) 습작에서 시작해서 2) 문법에 맞는 바른 문장으로 영작하기,
3) 내용을 간추려 요약하기를 거쳐 4) 주어진 주제에 맞게 자신의 주장을
논리적으로 쓰는 에세이까지 학년, 개별적 현 시작 레벨에 맞게 체계적이고
세분화된 커리큘럼으로 라이팅의 기초에서 완성도있는 글쓰기 까지,
국가공인인증 나플란시험에서 오직 라이팅 고득점만을 목표로 집중 공략하는 수업입니다.
학습내용
• 글을 쓰는 목적에 따라서 Narrative writing, Expository writing, Descriptive writing, Argumentative, Persuasive writing 다양한 장르 다루기
• Narrative: 하나의 책을 읽고 발단-전개-위기-절정-결말의 형식을 취하면서
자신의 스토리를 녹여낸 글
• Exposition: 이글의 주제를 조사하고 이에 대한 근거를 들어서 작품을 분석하는
형식으로 쓰 는 것
• Descriptive: 대표적인 형식: 시나 소설. 시는 오감을 통해서 느낀 것을,
소설은 시대적 배경이 나 장소에 대한 정보를 그리듯이 쓰는것이 중요.
과학보고서나 자기 소개서에서도 필요한 영역
• Persuasive: 내 의견을 예를 들어서 논증을 하는 방법과 타인의 의견에 대하여
논리적으로 반박하고 읽는사람이나 제3자를 설득하기.
다른사람의 의견도 언급하고, 나의 생각을 다시한번 정리하고 설득하는 쓰기를 연습
